Matters to be noted when installing fixed combustible gas detector
Please refer to our company's product manuals during installation, and other related book articles include "Guide to the Selection, Installation, Use and Maintenance of Combustible Gas or Oxygen Detection and Measurement", and iec60079-29-2 ed1.0: explosive gas environment, part 29-2: combustible gas detection alarm "Selection, installation, use and maintenance of combustible gas and oxygen detectors".
Pay attention to the installation of fixed combustible gas detector:
The fixed combustible gas detector must be easy to test and maintain: the installation position should be suitable, the combustible gas alarm controller should be installed at a position about 1.5 meters from the ground, the detector position depends on the specific gravity of the measured gas. If the gas is lighter than air, the detector is installed at a position 0.5--2 meters above the leak source, and if gas is heavier than air, the detector is installed at a position 30-60cm from the ground. Whether the detector is above or below, the sensor should be vertically downward.
The fixed combustible gas detector and cable must be protected from mechanical damage: the connection between the combustible gas controller and the detector must be covered with a stainless steel tube to prevent damage to the cable.
The sensor selected for the fixed combustible gas detector must not be adversely affected by other substances in the environment (for example, the catalytic combustion sensor must not be used in areas that may contain lead, sulfur, or silicon).
The fixed combustible gas detector accessories must be selected to ensure stable operation in the current environment. For example, splash plates should be used in wet areas; if the detector is directly exposed to the sun in a hot area, a sunshade must be installed. The collector cone can be used to help detect gases that are lighter than air.
